Clawdline – Manage Claude Code/Codex sessions across computers

I built Clawdline to manage Claude Code and Codex sessions across multiple computers in one place. It runs on multiple computers (Mac and Linux), and you can see all of your sessions in one list. Each session reports its status (working, completed, or needs attention). You can also manage all your sessions and receive notifications from your phone (web app). Herdr, T3 Code, and Orca already cover a lot of this space, and there’s overlap. When I started building Clawdline, I didn't know about Herdr, T3 Code, or Orca. So I built it to fit my own dev workflow. At first, I used Swift to build a Mac app, but I realized that it wouldn't work if I also wanted to support Linux. So I decided to rewrite it in Go. Now it can support both of them. Main Features: - Cross Machine Agent Communication: You can ask a root session ("Local") on your Mac to start a new session ("Remote") on a remote Linux machine. Once the remote session finishes its work, it notifies the root ("Local") session. - Cross Agent Communication: You can use one root session to create tasks need multiple agents. I started looking into OpenProject as an open-source JIRA alternative for personal project, and wanted a way to have my AI agents pick up tasks and complete them automatically. So I put together this OpenProject Agent Engine. It auto assigns the 'work package' (ticket), then kicks off the agent to do the work. Once complete, the agent opens a PR then leaves a detailed comment on the ticket. The engine then assigns the ticket to a QA code review agent. I wanted a simple way to listen to articles on the go and found elevenreader. While I think the voices they have are great, I didn't want to bother with an account, a subscription, and yet another service interested in my content habits. I thought that TTS models and runtimes surely must have reached a point where they can run effectively on a mobile device with WebGPU. Maybe a fully local webapp could be feasible? Shortly after, I heard about Phonon here on HN and was motivated to spend a weekend with Claude and see what we could come up with :) The result is: - A fully local Audiobook/TTS webapp - An optimised Phonon runtime reaching ~4x increase in speed on WebGPU and CPU compared to stock Phonon - Streaming, so the audio starts quickly and continues to generate uninterrupted while the phone is locked - Library with an optional "auto-download" feature, so you can pre-render articles to be listened to later - Fully serverless and local, the bundle is hosted in Cloudflare workers, no backend, no database, no user accounts, no tracking. In this demo, we automatically deduce a FlashAttention kernel with ~25 lines of SQL, which just expresses vanilla attention. This is possible due to three portable SQL extensions that we’re building: - xarray-sql: a library that efficiently represents petabyte scale array datasets in the cloud as tables (relations). - ddx: a database extension that adds automatic differentiation in the style of JAX to standard SQL, assuming the above array data model. - einfold: a modular query planner for fast tensor contractions in vanilla SQL, again, assuming the above array data model. My hope is that the relational model and algebra provide fresh perspectives on how we might do accelerator programming. Here, our thesis is that separating the logical layers in a tensor program from the physical layers is both more correct and more scalable. If the Bitter Lesson is a central dogma of machine learning, then why not formalize it with relational algebra? Hello my beloved tech forum! Earlier this year I moved to a new apartment, and scattered a box of poetry magnets all over my fridge. Whenever people came to visit, I noticed how they always loved making poems of their own, not to mention enjoying the poems others had already created. It became such a fun and entertaining tradition, (especially due to the range of creative messages that my friends chose) that I felt compelled to make a full stack project out of it. While LLM agents have made the technical aspects of building a project like this easier, it took me a really long time to nail the algorithm for choosing daily word sets. I started with a huge collection (on the order of 100,000) of words, grouped by part of speech and sorted by the frequency of use in English. I tried randomly choosing a few words in the top 10, a few in the top 100, and so on, for each part of speech. That straight up did not work. Trying to make poetry out of those wordsets felt terrible. It was very discouraging. I had to go back to the drawing board many times. My current solution came about when I found some databases of words, one sorted by their sensory value (from most to least sensory-evoking) and one where words are sorted on a spectrum of concreteness to abstractness. Another key to picking fun and interesting word sets was ensuring there are a solid set of words that are included in every set no matter what. This "glue" set was handpicked by words that I found myself searching for over and over again when trying to write poems, but it is deliberately small to help people be creative in how they express ideas. I used Deepseek v4.1 Flash and the Pi agent. My AGENTS.md emphasizes my status as a junior developer, specifically prompting the agent to never make architectural decisions on my behalf, to quiz me on the architecture/code involved before implementing changes I request, and to never write copy so I can make sure the site feels warm and genuine in my own words. I wanted to avoid letting the code get out of control for when I want to add features in the future. One of the things I love about building these kinds of projects that LLMs enable is being able to add tiny features that most people will never see. For example, I added special effects that occur when a haiku is written. I chose TanStack Start and React this time instead of SvelteKit. The experience was about the same. And kudos on poems are deliberately spammable. I like seeing number go up. Friends have expressed enjoyment from using it so far, but I'm excited to hear feedback on y'all's experience and see if there's anything huge I'm missing. Thank you in advance!

I have been really interested in reinforcement learning and had a go at trying to teach a model through simulation to read and speak through experience. It’s two small networks (~4M parameters total) trained on a MacBook. It passed generated versions of England’s Year 1 Phonics Screening Check (36.6/40, pass mark 32), and the bit I like most is that it taught itself irregular words like “glove” through reading practice. It was given 42 sound slots and the voice learned from transcribed recordings, so it’s not scaffolding-free. Details on that are in the post.

Hey HN, I’m Victor and I’ve been building Ocel, an open source CLI, Console and SDK for deploying your apps and the infra they need to your own AWS/GCP/VPS. The CLI: Run ‘ocel deploy’ in your existing apps, and deploy to a configured target, no separate IaC files required. The SDK: Declare infra your app needs as code within the app itself, the CLI builds and provisions with no extra steps when deploying. Rust, Go, Python and Typescript supported. The Console: Optional self-hostable UI for an otherwise CLI-first product. The neat part is that the console itself is an app built with the sdk and deployed with the CLI ! You can try it out to deploy your apps to your own infra. VPS is well tested, and AWS+Cloudflare is also quite well covered. I’ve been dogfooding this myself for things I’m building. Please expect bugs, as it’s still early days. Why ? I’ve been a big fan and user of SST for a long time (personal and professional projects). The DX is genuinely unmatched and the high-level components make things quite easy. I think they proved that most apps don’t need complex IaC code, and abstracting things behind high level components/primitives, with some customization levers, actually works quite well. Ocel builds on that by taking it a bit further, no infra code, have a similar ‘high level components’ approach, but directly in the app. And support deploying existing apps or frameworks from day one in the CLI. You should be able to cd into an existing app and just deploy! (Of course theres a bit more like providing credentials to the platform you are deploying to, domains, one-time setup, etc). Everything else is the gripes I had after deploying tons of apps with SST: - Preview and production separation built in, so previews can share heavy resources and be considerably faster - First class support for separating the origin and edge, so composing AWS and cloudflare (common setup I had) becomes a breeze - CLI-first product, but with a UI console that can also be self hosted for things like team management, setting env vars, etc. - More SDK primitives (Realtime, Tasks, Pubsub topics, etc) that give a BaaS-like experience no matter where you deploy

Convert Anthropic and OpenAI bill exports to FinOps FOCUS (open source)

I needed to put our Anthropic and OpenAI spend next to our cloud bills, and found that the exports don't fit together. The Claude Console gives you two CSVs. The Cost export has dollars rounded to the cent, so a day of cache reads shows $0.00. The Usage export has token counts and no dollars. Anthropic also counts input in four parts that don't overlap: uncached, cache reads, 5-minute cache writes and 1-hour cache writes, priced at 1×, 0.1×, 1.25× and 2× input. OpenAI does it differently: input_tokens already includes cached tokens. If you merge the two exports without accounting for that, you double-count or drop cached input. FOCUS is the FinOps Foundation's open billing schema. AWS, GCP and Azure already export it, but the official converters don't cover any AI provider yet. So this is a small MIT CLI: npx ai-bill-to-focus convert cost.csv usage.csv -o focus.csv --check It writes one row per day, model and token type, each with its own SKU, unit price and quantity. The dollar column is always the provider's own figure. For Anthropic, a row gets the exact token-priced amount only if that rounds to the Cost export's cents; otherwise it keep and a column says which. check runs theFinOps Foundation's validator rules, which I ported to JS, and exits non-zero on errors, so it can gate CI. Rulecan't evaluate are counted and reported, n Status: Anthropic is tested on real Consolhe cent. OpenAI and Together AI are built from their documented export formats and haven't been run on a real file yet. If you have one and it breaks, theheader row alone is enough for me to fix i Network: convert downloads a public model the request contains nothing from your files. --offline skips it, and --prices lets you supply your own list. There's also an in-browser version that doesn't upload anything: https://www.cognocient.co I work on Cognocient AI, which does this kequest (by feature, team or agent run)through a proxy. Hi everyone! I had the idea for catcopter on my mind for a long time (got the domain ~13 years ago). It's a web multiplayer game where you can fly a dangerous cat and engage in competition with other players and critters (pterodactyls, chickens and angry penguins). I made it initially for me and my friends but it was quite fun so I thought I'll share it here too. The game is intentionally dorky and it was fun to develop. The tools I used were mostly Opus 5.5 (objects / rigging / motion), Tripo3d for some elements I struggled with and Fable for optimisation (cpu / networking). Backend physics are done with Rapier. Luckily I had a lot of elements / game dynamics done before from another project of mine ( https://flat.social ) so the actual iteration here took me around a week.

We’re happy to introduce Artificer, our first robotics decision model for evaluating robot task progress and success. The problem Robot systems need feedback during training, evaluation, and deployment. An arm might grasp the right object, but place it in the wrong bin. A robot might’ve only completed part of its task before it stopped. Assessing these outcomes from video often requires manual review or brittle, handcrafted objectives. Though frontier models do well in evaluation, they are expensive and slow. Artificer is a 4B parameter model that estimates task completion and progress, at the frontier level, from a task and video. During deployment, these estimates provide feedback to a robot controller to help decide whether to continue an attempt, retry, or move to the next task. Sharing a project I've been working on for the last while, MadTracker, a scoring system for track cycling races: Announcement: https://nuxx.net/blog/2026/10/29/madtracker/ GitHub w/ Binary Releases: https://github.com/c0nsumer/madtracker This was built to replace an Excel-based manual scoring system that worked, but was clunky and required specialized knowledge making it hard to hand off to other volunteers at the local velodrome. MadTracker was developed by formalizing scoring rules from the USA Cycling and other club formats to build a scoring engine, then wrapping it in a front end that holds venue info, event info, rider info, race info, and then makes noting who finished in what order easy. The order and such is run through the scoring engine and this produces results that display on a scoreboard (second monitor), export as PDFs, and export as a CVS for upload to a governing body's scoring website. I'm really happy with how this came out. It's super niche, but it fills a local need and makes a slice of a small community better, so I wanted to share it. It's free software, MIT licensed, for macOS / Windows / Linux, doesn't require network connectivity, and aimed at being simple to use while solving the scoring problem. I like frontend a lot. I can do backend, but not every little thing is worth it and I've been making "detached" HTML apps (not even needing a web server) as long as I can remember. I wanted a way to standup some sort of secure way to save data, maybe with a little bit of logic with just a few commands. I didn't want code (TypeScript, Java, C#, etc), but I also didn't want no code either -- maybe it's the devops in me (Terraform?). I was done waiting, and made this. It hosts the logic, permissions and state you need for an agent, application or game with pure curl commands. Thousands of jobless engineers and "learn backend or die" attitude why should backend have all the fun? Besides this might be good for scripting and infrastructure setup too, so it has something for everyone. There's also a Tauri+pglite version for desktop dev (thank you pglite) and a Devvit template for Reddit games (I made a couple, ask) all running on the same engine. Please give it a shot, and if you like what you see join my team (I got tired of working on it alone so I added a childhood friend and a few ex-coworkers) and I in our Discord. I'm full time on it now so any feedback even negative is more fuel. If it sucks, we want to know about it, so we can make it better. Now for the big questions *Is it Open Source?* Not yet. There's a lot of reasons but the main one is the code is in a giant monorepo that has to be cleaned up. Another reason is I eventually want to make it Fair Source or Open Core, so that a hyperscaler can't just wrap it and charge everyone (including me) a lot of money just to use it. We do have to charge money for serious production use. *What if you disappear tomorrow?* Absolutely valid question. That's why I put a lot of effort into the export to SQL (eject) functionality. It's not perfect yet, but you can export all the logic and permissions into your own Postgres database. So if you want to run it 100% standalone from Statebase, you can. The SQL export generates is ugly for now; a lot has to do with nulls. We will improve it but I wanted to avoid forcing a schema to start. *AI Support?* MCP is coming very soon (next few days) and x402 payments is in the works. But I wanted to get it in the hands of flesh and bone, to see if it really excites someone as much as it does me. I know it's possible the vast majority of users will be agents, but hoping for at least a few flesh and blood champions. *Plans?* It's built on Cloudflare Durable Objects for cost savings and other advantages like built-in tenant isolation and native websockets (honestly scary how well DO mapped to our needs). But it could exist anywhere. We have a node version, a desktop version (Tauri+pglite), a devvit version (Reddit games) and so on. My dream is for this to get big, very big, so anyone making a prototype experiment, throwaway or even basic production loads reach for this. We also want to hold a game jam as soon as possible and eventually I want to make one-click installer plugins for Phaser, Unity, Godot and so on. 读了一堆 RSI（递归自我改进）论文，感觉绕来绕去，还是 RL 和进化搜索里的几个老问题： 1. Hey y’all! I’m a product designer (with adhd, this will come back) currently working on learning engineering to get on the design engineering bandwagon. Doing research on safari, chrome and llms felt horribly decentralized due to the lack of visual and contextual history, as my method of research is to get deep into granular information in order to understand new concepts in depth. This made me so fed up that I wanted a way to create a Time Machine through my research in order to track the context of why I ended up where I was and be able to return to sources that interested me. I call it NODE Research Browser. I baked in a few features; 1. Research Trails - An .MD record of a research session you can jump in and out of, export and share. 2. Multi-browser views of up to four at the same time to compare data. I also had to implement media auto play because I love ambient sound in the background. You can have more than 4 tabs open but double pinching will let you select which four tabs are in view. 3. Auto crawls to the next page across niche sites using key words present in the site in view, this auto refreshes. 4. LLM integration via MCP and API calls to ask questions on a topic, browse via agents and see their trail. 5. It’s completely free because I don’t know how to monetize it yet. Muscle Memory – Can you still write code without AI?

Developer of 6 years here, been using AI (increasingly) over the last year for most of my work. A few weeks back I started to look for new jobs as the current startup I work for is falling into pieces. "Do I need to do leetcode again?" - I thought. So I picked a few challenges and tried to solve them without an assistant. This felt impossible. What?! Is this the brainrot everyone is talking about? I mean I still read code every day, I just don't write it anymore. I could read and review the solution easily, but writing it myself felt like speaking a language I only understand, but cannot speak. Being the data hoarder I am, I immediately wanted numbers, so I built Muscle Memory to help me feed them. It's like leetcode but better. Challenges are more realistic, and I'd like to think the UX is more straightforward. It covers 12 languages and your code runs in a network-denied sandbox in your browser. No account needed. I want it to be a place to keep your hands sharp: short tasks, clear prompts, and difficulty that comes from solving the problem rather than figuring out what the question means. About the data (that I'm curious about): With your consent, Muscle Memory records your practice as raw events, including keystrokes, runs and submissions. Hoping to build an open dataset of how we write code in the AI era. That could help us understand how we approach problems, where we get stuck, and how we well do we retain our craft during this transition. Your individual results stay private unless you share them. “Stealth” mode keeps your data out of published findings, and you can export or delete everything. The data will be published as a report/notebook on the site itself, and be available raw under MIT license (parquet) once we reach a critical mass of sorts, so it makes sense to share. This is a project I've been working on for about 8 months now. I worked in legal tech for 3 years and found that one of the biggest hurdles for AI agents and lawyers alike when doing legal research is tracking changes, and correctly cross referencing those changes between different forms of legal documents. W2D builds a SQLite dataset from public sources, and offers agent skills for answering questions about that dataset. The dataset holds multiple revisions of the U.S. Code at each release point that you add. It holds the public laws that amend the Code, and it links each amendment to the change that it made. It holds court opinions from CourtListener, by page and paragraph, and it links each U.S.C. citation to the provision that the court cited. It can also hold House roll calls. This is similar in spirit to "git for Law" but includes a lot more utilities than diffs to make it an effective tool for research.

阮老师好，自荐一个我写的开源桌面小工具 MenuBarMijia（MIT 协议）。平时在电脑前写代码或码字时，想开关灯、把吸顶灯切到月光模式、调空调温度，或者看一眼插座功率，往往得拿起手机点米家 App，或者喊小爱同学（容易打断思路，晚上还会听一串语音回复）。所以我做了一个常驻在 macOS 菜单栏和 Windows 11 系统托盘的控制器。主要功能：米家扫码直连或接入 Home Assistant：打开设置用手机米家 App 扫码就能同步家庭和设备，不用额外部署服务器；已有 Home Assistant 的 Mac 用户也可以通过局域网 WebSocket 接入，程序会自动把同一台物理设备拆散的开关、功率、用电量、童锁等实体合成一张卡片。键盘拼音搜索与按住说话：按 ⌥M（Windows 下 Alt+M）呼出面板，直接敲拼音首字母（比如 sftd 找「书房台灯」）回车开关，方向键调亮度和温度；也可以用鼠标按住菜单栏图标直接说「关客厅灯」「再暗一点」「10 分钟后关书房灯」，松手即发，没有唤醒词，也不播报语音。明确的中英文指令在本地直接解析，复杂说法可以按需接你自己的大模型接口。跟着 Mac 状态自动执行（macOS）：支持锁屏/合盖离开时自动关灯、唤醒回来开灯，或外接显示器插拔触发场景；同时提供 4 个 macOS「快捷指令」（Shortcuts）动作与 menumijia:// URL 调用。防误触与用电统计：批量操作会弹出 10–15 秒撤销条（10 分钟内也能直接说「撤销」），只恢复那次操作改过的属性；「全关」需要按住 0.6 秒，默认排除插座和扫地机。内置插座本地用电统计，只按电表累计读数算增量，不用功率乘时间估算。安装与试用（内置离线演示家庭，不绑设备也能直接试界面）： bash brew install --cask jryang1997/tap/menubarmijia

Hello, my name is Berend Graham. My cofounder Shiv Oberai and I have been working on Limma for a year now with the goal of building a proactive solution to the reliability issues that plague practical AI and agentic use in companies with RAG. Limma is a single MCP that exists for the sole purpose of ensuring that the right information is retrieved with every query and no information is skipped and or missed. This means total precision and recall. We've found that this approach leads to the lowest rate of hallucination vs. solely targeting agent action verification which has made tremendous strides in capability. We do this by building a map and structuring all data-points within unstructured data as well as federating structured data for addressability so that agents don't need to search through chunks directly and instead only get the right information . Hey folks! I made it easier for builders to use the lebanese legislation through: a public DB, API, and MCP. The Lebanese University has an archive of all laws dating back to 1904 (legallaw.ul.edu.lb). People and AI can barely find it and navigate it. It also had outdated articles. Now, more people are using it. Builders for their startups, lawyers for their work, and students for their bar prep. I'm still trying to get it trusted by authorities. The database includes the edges between every law, article, ruling and Gazette issue. You can easily identify how they influence one another. Articles are versioned, so you can see how it was affected by other laws from the date it was published. 100k unofficial english translations were added using LLMs. They aren't accurate, but they help with search and SEO/AEO/GEO. We're working on producing legally accurate translations. 47k rulings were PDFs, some handwritten. We converted all of them to text using OCR, flagging handwritten files. We're working on an HTR model specifically for those to increase the confidence. Today, other datasets in Lebanon charge for this data. I'm doing it as a public service. I want change in my country. And, lately, I think it's through helping builders. Yet, what I'm doing is legally wrong, but hopefully morally acceptable.

Cryo – A language whose programs live forever

Cryo is a programming language that models long-running tasks like workflows or AI agents. Programs freeze to disk when idle and can be thawed when new data arrives. As part of our announcement of Endothermic Labs, we've put together a small of Cryo that highlights its features and walks through the language and its plugin system. We originally built it as a way to deploy healthcare agents at scale, but have rebuilt it from the ground up to be a standalone toolchain for long-running tasks. It acts as something like a cross between Durable Objects and Temporal workflows, where the script itself is the durable unit with no replay needed. Cryo is statically and structurally typed, with a concurrency model similar to Go. It's still under active development, so we're holding off on open sourcing it until we're confident that the language is stable, ideally in the next 3-4 weeks.

Mainplane – Agent in Go that lives on your old PC, drives your laptop

Hi HN, I'm Alexander. Yes, this is another agent harness. Here is why I built one anyway. I was engineer #2 at Browser Use, where I built our agent harness and the evals behind it, including BU Bench, which became a default benchmark for browser agents. I left in September to build Mainplane. The problem: local agents die with your laptop, and cloud agents can't reach your work. Many cloud platforms ask you to "select a repository", but my work is not that simple. I work across a desktop, a Mac mini and a laptop, and much of it is not in git. So I loaded Ubuntu on my old 2012 desktop and made it my Mainplane server. It has run for four weeks at a load average of 0.02, because the agents' tools run on other machines. How it works: it is a control plane architecture. The server runs the harness. It holds your API keys and every session, makes the LLM calls, and routes each tool call to a worker. The workers are your other machines, connected over a built-in private WireGuard network. A bash command runs in the worker's terminal, not on the server. Shared drives let projects move across machines. The agent works on your machines just like you would, but its state lives on the server, and your keys never leave it. Some design choices: - Every session is one append-only file. This is the agent state, and it is easily readable. If something breaks, you can resume it from the file. Observability comes for free: agent traces are just these state files. - Small by design. The system prompt is 3k tokens, and there are just two kinds of tools: shell and file (read, write, edit). At Browser Use, I learned the bitter lesson and found frontier models did better when I deleted all our helper functions. So I made the same bet here: bash is all you need. - No compaction. When a session fills up, /continue starts a new one that greps the previous state file, retrieving the context it needs, instead of reading a lossy summary. A /compact on a 400k-token session takes a while to write its summary. A /continue into a brand new session starts at once. - No permission prompts. A hyperintelligent misaligned agent WILL find a way around a permission system. Hey HN, I'm Christian and this is a new OSS project I've been noodling on for the last couple of weeks. Hob is a free, MIT-licensed desktop app for Mac, Windows and Linux that works on your files the way the Claude and ChatGPT desktop apps do, except the model runs on your own computer. It uses open-weight models (currently Gemma 4 and gpt-oss). All your chats and files never leave your system. The only things that go online are web search (can be turned off in settings) and any MCP connectors you add yourself. Main features: - Automatically finds the best open-weight model for your hardware on first install (Mac/Linux/Windows) - Writes sandboxed Python code for ad hoc tools (data processing, document conversion, graphs etc.) - Built-in web search (powered by SearXNG) - MCP support - Image recognition - CRUD to your local filesystem - Works fully offline with no internet Before building this I tried every local AI app I could find, but it seemed each one had different problems. The main thing I noticed is that none of them could do what the ChatGPT and Claude apps do with your files, e.g. read and change files in a folder, look at images, run code in a sandbox, draw a chart. The most advanced thing any of them did was paste a plain text file into a small context window, which basically failed as soon as you had a file larger than a few KB. I couldn't find anything that could easily parse images and bigger PDFs. The OSS solutions that were more advanced all seemed to default to hosted models (either OSS or closed), which defeats the entire point of the privacy that on-device OSS offers. They also seemed to push towards an account/open-core style business. I build it using Electron bridged with llama.cpp in its own process. On initial load, the system will try and figure out if you have a compatible graphics card and if not default to CPU-only (I ran into a lot of issues of graphics card beeing seemingly compatible but then crashing on first query, there's a whole saga to this lol). Code execution happens in a sandbox that can only write to the chat's folder and has no network unless asked (sandbox-exec on macOS, Landlock on Linux and a low-integrity process on Windows). Images go to a small Qwen3-VL model. Dictation is a local Whisper model. The hardest part was definitely to get the smaller models to use tools reliably. Ran into a ton of issues of 4B models happily saying "here's your chart" without ever calling the chart tool or get stuck in an infinite call loop. I spent a fair amount of the work building guards vs tweaking prompts (that didn't really work for small models). I understand the pushback that local models are weaker than frontier cloud models. This is true, but for most tasks for most normal people, I'd argue you rarely need the newest frontier model. From my own evals, systems with 16+ GB of RAM do really well, and if you have a GPU or more RAM, you get very close to what you'll get out of the box with a frontier hosted model. Excited to hear what you think and see how it runs on other systems!

I'm working on open-source context ownership, to stop AI centralisation: https://github.com/withnative/native My first focus has been making Markdown vaults powerful enough so that teams can self-host all of their context (messaging, docs and projects), without it being externally fragmented or rate-limited. I'm sharing some early results: Markdown vaults can be 40× more efficient with SQLite! https://www.withnative.ai/research-and-posts/markdown-contex... Here's some of the main ideas: - SQLite or Markdown folders, you pick. You can project the same authoritative event log into either form; more projection formats will follow (e.g. maybe neo4j; we do use a graph structure). - Empirically: SQLite is better for agents! On a 120 trial evaluation for 11,000 records, agents use 40× fewer tokens with SQLite vs Markdown, per correct answer. - Everything is a file or SQLite row. Messages, documents and projects: all can be modelled in your vault. You get local-first collaboration with teammates, synced to a cloud of your choice. - You can render your vault with arbitrary UI. Your WhatsApp-like UI speaks to your teammate's Slack-like UI; both are just views over the same database. A few things I've learned building this: - Agents do pretty well even without SQL if you give them strongly typed Markdown frontmatter. This was one arm of the trial I ran. I didn't have any clear expectations, but it was cool to watch: agents ended up writing Python scripts to do SQL-like queries. - Cumulatively, cached input tokens can get expensive. I feel silly in hindsight here. I'd gotten used to letting my sessions run long, "It's all cached so it's very cheap". But when I looked at my results here, over 2/3 of the token bill on long sessions was cached input... - "Markdown vaults don't scale as well as databases" isn't as self-evident as I think. This is why I decided to benchmark it... I've had some very blank stares when I try to explain how Markdown files might break at true agent-scale volume. Unfortunately, the dataset is private, because it's two months of my own work. I am considering open-sourcing it even so, but there is definitely some embarrassing stuff in there. TBD... I know that independent result verification matters! 用 ONNX Runtime Web 把 AI 和弦识别放到了浏览器本地运行，做了个 Chord Finder

最近做了一个音乐相关的 Web 工具，ChordFold 。主要功能是：用户选择一段 MP3 或 WAV 音频，AI 自动识别里面的和弦，以及和弦随时间的变化。和一些需要上传音频到服务器的识别服务不同，我选择了浏览器本地推理的方案。目前的技术方案：使用 BTC 系列和弦识别模型模型转换为 ONNX 格式通过 ONNX Runtime Web 在浏览器里执行 WASM 推理对音频进行解码和 CQT 特征提取模型预测后对结果进行平滑，生成和弦时间轴用户侧的操作流程也比较简单：选择本地音频文件首次使用时下载识别模型在浏览器本地分析音频得到按时间排列的和弦结果点击时间轴上的和弦，可以跳到对应位置回听可以切换查看支持的吉他和弦指法图、钢琴音符参考目前限制音频最大 14MB 、最长 10 分钟。选择本地推理主要有几个考虑：第一，音频不需要上传服务器，相对更有隐私优势。第二，不需要为每个用户的识别请求支付云端 GPU 推理费用。第三，工具本身不需要用户注册账号。但缺点也很明显。首先，模型首次下载需要时间。其次，不同设备上的 WASM 推理性能差异比较大。还有就是和弦识别的准确率问题。对于干净的钢琴、吉他音频，相对容易分析；复杂编曲、失真、转位和弦以及快速切换的片段，模型仍然可能出现错误。目前不打算宣传什么 99% 准确率，实际上还没有可靠的统一准确率测试数据。接下来主要想继续优化识别效果、模型加载和结果交互。想请教一下 V 友：有没有做过音乐信息检索（ MIR ）或者音频模型部署的？对于浏览器本地音频推理，ONNX Runtime Web + WASM 还有哪些值得优化的方向？有更适合浏览器端运行、准确率又比较好的和弦识别模型推荐吗？如果你会弹吉他或者钢琴，也欢迎拿一段音频测试一下，看看识别效果怎么样。技术交流和产品体验方面的建议都欢迎。
